About the role:
Maintain, service, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair and clean Carrier owned HVAC equipment and related products in the workshop and various sites throughout Singapore and across Asia when required. This includes air-cooled and water-cooled systems from 10 RT to 600 RT; various sizes of air conditioners, pumps, air handlers, spot coolers.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Service Technician, you’ll be responsible for:
- Maintain,service, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair and clean Carrier owned HVAC equipment and related products in the workshop and various sites Singapore and This includes air-cooled and water-cooled systems from 10 RT to 600 RT; various sizes of air conditioners, pumps, air handlers, spot coolers.
- Ensure all PPE is worn appropriately as work is performed in a variety of environmental conditions with exposure to outdoor temperature variations, noise, vibrations, gas or fumes, grease, cleaning solvents, degreasing agents, machinery and its moving parts, odors, and dust particles.
- Maintain accurate records for orders and inventory counts.
- Use power tools, hand tools, and other mechanical equipment.
- Communicate in a professional manner with co-employees, subcontractors, and customers.
- Perform other duties as needed, including general maintenance, cleaning, lifting, organizing, and general inventory counts.
Requirements:
We are looking for people who are good in chiller maintenance and technical servicing. If this is you, get in touch.
As a minimum you must have:
- Nitec, Diploma or Equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering with 3 Years of Commercial HVAC experience.
- HVAC technical certification or HVAC equivalent
- Proficiency in servicing, troubleshooting, repair and cleaning HVAC equipment and related products.
- Refrigerant Handling license, SIC for Construction, Shipyard, Process Plant or training or experience in EHS & Risk Assessment is an added advantage.
