Castlery is looking for a dynamic and experienced VP Operations to join our E-Commerce Team to drive long-term growth initiatives and commercial planning efforts. This role will be pivotal in shaping the strategic direction of the E-Commerce channels. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of e-commerce, retail, and market dynamics, as well as strong leadership skills to align functional teams towards a common vision. What you’ll be doing
Strategic Vision:
- Develop and refine the long-term growth and operations strategy.
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify new opportunities, trends, and competitive threats.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to set and communicate strategic goals and objectives.
Commercial Planning:
- Design and implement a robust commercial planning process that aligns all functional teams, including marketing, sales, operations, and product development.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress towards strategic goals and drive accountability across the organization.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure that all teams are working towards common objectives and priorities.
Execution and Monitoring:
- Oversee the execution of strategic initiatives and monitor their impact on growth and profitability.
- Identify potential challenges and risks in strategy implementation and develop mitigation plans.
- Regularly report on strategic performance to the executive team.
Team Leadership:
- Build and lead a high-performing commercial team, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
- Mentor and develop team members to enhance their strategic thinking and analytical capabilities.
- Engage with stakeholders at all levels to ensure buy-in and alignment with strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in strategy, business development, or consulting, preferably within the e-commerce or retail sector.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful growth strategies that drive significant revenue increases.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and fostering collaborative environments.
