Role Overview:

As the Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, including transactions, payroll, and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

• AR : Issue sales invoices, record sales receipts, sales reconciliation etc.
• AP: Record vendors’ invoices and preparing vendors’ payments etc.
• Handle bank reconciliation.
• Responsible for employee claims and reimbursements processing.
• Handle intercompany billing and reconciliation.
• Preparation of month-end closing with accounting schedules.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and statements.
• Ensuring compliance with accounting and tax laws.
• Preparing and analyzing budgets and financial forecasts.
• Conducting regular audits to ensure accuracy of financial information.
• Assisting in the planning and development of accounting and reporting processes to ensure compliance.
• Collaborating with the Human Resources team to align financial management and employee records and benefits.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years relevant experience in finance or accounting preferably in a financial control or auditing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and relevant legislation.
• Proven ability to interpret financial information.
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Experience in the broadcast or media industry preferred.
• Strong understanding of tax compliance, corporate tax, withholding tax and GST.
• Bilingual in both English and Chinese is a must as frequent liaising with stakeholders from China and Taiwan
