DESCRIPTION OF JOB TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Mechanic
- Perform preventive maintenance and repair services to all US Navy and Air Force Vehicle and Equipment under BOS contract in accordance with USN P-300 & USAF TCTO’s.
- Troubleshoot, overhaul and repair equipment mechanical & electrical system defect. (transmission, Clutch, brakes, power train, under chassis, steering, differential, alternator starter motor etc.)
- Troubleshoot repair light and heavy vehicles electrical circuit and accessories (Alternator, Starter Motor, Wiper Motor)
- Perform repair balancing and replacement of different type of tire use by vehicles and equipment under BOS contract.
- Perform vehicle lift maintenance and lubrication once a month
- Maintenance for MHE Equipment & Maintenance of Light/Heavy vehicle
- Accomplish other related duties as assigned by designated AGE Manager.
BASIC JOB QUALIFICATIONS
1. Have Valid Driver License
2. Have a minimum two years of experience on assigned GSE/MHE contained within this contract or similar equipment.
3. At a minimum must be able to inspect, perform preventive maintenance, service systems, determine serviceability, troubleshoot/diagnose and repair maintenance malfunctions, overhaul and modify.
4. Familiar with Technical orders, Work Cards, Manuals and Publications.
5. Speak, read, and write technical English fluently
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS: SPECIAL CERTIFICATIONS OR TRAINING
Graduated with Vocational or Technical Trade in School of Mechanics.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 2 years’ experience maintaining AGE.
