Responsibilities: -
- Demonstrates effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Perform various complex account analyses and reconciliation.
- Prepares various financial documents for compliance with regulations.
- Coordinates and maintains billings and reports, verifies all billings are complete and reconciled to the general ledger
- Monitors and submits all periodic financial documents required by Management.
- Handling month-end closing process, and making correction journal entries for account discrepancies, prepares closing journal entries, posts accrual entries, and prepares financial statements
- Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to Management
- Responsible for preparation and closing of monthly and annual financial statements
- Responsible for accounting processes and tasks (i.e.: AP & AR process, GL, account reconciliation, etc.) for assigned countries within region.
- Coordinate and liaise with internal parties to support intercompany activities
- Support forecasting and budgeting exercise as per corporate guidelines
- Coordinate and liaise with external parties like external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities where required
- Support and ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements, tax filing requirement (GST/WHT/CIT/…), audits, procedures and forms both statutory and internal
- Identify areas for improvement and implement improvements to processes
- Assist in new processes and system implementation when required
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements: -
- Degree or professional accountancy qualification recognized by ISCA
- Min. 2 years of related working experience, preferably with previous audit background
- Strong accounting knowledge and application of accounting standards.
- Have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Must be able to communicate with our overseas offices, including Taiwan and Chinese speaking associates)
- Must be independent, responsible and committed
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Able to work with people at all levels
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
- Experienced with Microsoft Dynamics NAV system preferred, but not a must.
- Excellent analytical skills, meticulous, proactive and result oriented.
- Able to multi-task, work independently and meet deadlines.
- Able to start work immediately or within short notice
- Work experience in regional is preferred. (Taiwan, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand)
- Singaporeans preferred
