The Clinic Assistant will be the responsible for providing excellent patient care (non-clinical) at the centre. Responsible for:
- Liaison with patients and their family members on appointments with the doctors and other associated diagnostic services.
- Following up with third parties and tracing of results
- Taking basic parameters for patients such as blood pressure, temperature, height and weight
- Assist patients with registrations, billings and insurance claims enquiries.
- Financial counselling on medisave/medishield and insurance coverage matters
- Verification of patients’ information into the Clinic system.
- Provide assistance on private health insurance coverage and Medisave requirements to ensure claims process is in order.
- Support finance in medical claims including preparing invoices for claim submission, claim submissions, preparing LOGs, communicating with insurers, following up on payment.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of working experience, preferably in healthcare industry.
- Pro-active to patients’ needs and able to communicate effectively and work effectively with others in the team and organisation to accomplish team and organisation goals.
- Good communication skills and customer service.
