We are looking for an English Teacher for the Centre of New Life Schoolhouse - Childcare Services.

Minimum requirement:

• Must be L2 certified by ECDA

We are looking for someone who:

Expected salary: SGD 2,400 - SGD 3,600

Working hours: Shift hours 7.00AM - 7.00PM

Skills & Qualifications:

• Relevant credentials in Early Childhood Education or Infant Care (e.g., ACEY, EY2, EY1).
• Provide high-quality care for infants (2 months to 18 months).
• Design and implement age-appropriate developmental activities.
• Maintain a clean and safe classroom.
• Observe and record each child’s progress and development.
• Regularly update parents on their child’s growth and address concerns.
• Collaborate with colleagues for cohesive care.
• Adhere to health and safety standards.
• Strong understanding of infant development, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.

Job vacancies:

Multiple for Student Care Coach and Assistant Student Care Coach

Responsibilities

• (Assist) to plan and deliver lessons
• (Assist) to coach, supervise and ensure completion of daily school homework
• (Assist) to conduct practices and tests for spelling (English and Mother tongue)
• Ensure safe and timely transfer of students from school to student centre, including pick-ups from nearby schools
• (Assist) to monitor and track the progress of students
• Engage and provide regular update to parents and/or guardians on students’ progress and behaviour
• (Assist) to mark students’ work
• Perform administrative duties and ensure upkeep of centre premises
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Centre Supervisor

Academic Requirements:

• Diploma / WSQ Student-Care Certified
• Familiar with MOE syllabus or have prior working experience as a tutor/teacher
• Able to communicate effectively in English and one other mother tongue language
• Able to coach primary school level academic subjects
• Passionate and enjoy working with young children
• Outgoing personality and pleasant disposition
• Possess excellent work ethics and integrity

Working Hours

• Full Time - Monday to Friday (1130am to 8pm during school term; 8.5hrs shift work 7am-8pm during school holidays)
• Part Time - Monday to Friday (1pm to 6pm)
