JOB SCOPE & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee construction planning, scheduling and tracking of projects/deliverables
Obtain inputs from project team members, contractors, suppliers and client to support the development of a baseline schedule, and subsequently update schedule progress and forecasting
Maintain project baseline schedule, timely updating of project schedule, and analyze effects of any proposed changes/additional activities on the project
Develop and maintain Resource Loaded Schedule and Progress Measurement System based on Construction Bill of Quantities, and Critical Path Method Schedule
Prepare and maintain S-curves, manpower histogram and commodity curves for reporting
Produce project progress reports and narratives on project status including the production of graphs, critical paths, risks tables, etc
Tracking and managing schedule interface
Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports based on site reporting matrix.
Highlight potential delays and work with project team members and stakeholders to mitigate delay risks, including proposing recovery strategy and draft recovery schedule when required
Coordinate with QS, Procurement and Project teams on progress claims
Any other duties as assigned from time to time.
JOB REQUIREMENT
Degree in Building Construction Management / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
At least 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry preferably in water treatment projects. Candidate with more experience will be considered for a senior role
Proficiency in Primavera P6 is mandatory
Experience in planning and management of complex construction projects
Good understanding of procurement, engineering and construction sequence
