Job Description:
- Retrieve the daily sales report from the POS backend
- Conduct inventory counts at venues with managers (clarify frequency: every session with the ops? or during end-of-month inventory count).
- Ensure counts match records in MarketMan (Inventory Management system)
- Responsible as a main procurement personnel and verify stock levels against par levels to prevent overordering
- Evaluate the necessity of asset purchases before approval.
- Ensure Paperchase (Accounting Software) communicates with suppliers regarding credit notes for returned items (once paperchase come in to handle our booking/ accounting task)
- Ensure entertainment claims are within range, track and ensure adherence
Qualifications & Skills:
- Tertiary Education in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in cost control, financial analysis, or accounting roles (preferably in [industry type]).
- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and financial analysis techniques.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to identifying cost-saving opportunities.
