Account management responsibilities include developing strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders and preparing sales reports. Account Managers also answer client queries and identify new business opportunities among existing customers.
Responsibilities
- Follow up with leads from multiple channels and convert them to sales
- Connect available travel resources and provide expert advice to customers
- Plan and price itineraries according to requirements of customers
- Organise end-to-end travel arrangements from pre-trip consultancy, sourcing, booking, preparation to on-trip support and post-trip advocacy
- Sales driven yet focused on delivering quality work for clients
- Develop new corporate customer base by identifying new corporate customer opportunities, as well as maintaining rapport with key corporate customers
- Delivering presentations to clients
- Identifying industry trends
- Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- Proven track record as a travel advisor or in similar sales or service role
- Working knowledge of CRS, GDS and CRM system (Airline booking system)
- Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese to liaise with Chinese speaking clients and suppliers.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Keen interest in local and international travel trends
- Ability to work independently with sound judgement and excel as an individual, yet a collaborative team player
