Responsibilities

• Manage successful and effective project execution, including planning, implementation, scheduling, monitoring, and handover within specified timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Oversee project budget controls, track expenditures, and implement strategies to reduce project delivery costs.
• Review and analyze contract documents and drawings. Communicate and negotiate with consultants, clients, authorities, and contractors on engineering, contractual, and project implementation matters.
• Monitor overall productivity and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards, as well as all applicable permits.
• Prepare and submit monthly progress reports to stakeholders.
• Define roles and responsibilities clearly for team members and ensure their deliverables meet scope and schedule requirements.
• Supervise and guide team members to ensure compliance with project standards and objectives.

Requirements

• A degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB), Singapore, is an advantage.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant project management experience in the local construction industry.
• Proven experience in managing at least one full project cycle with a project value of $50M or above.
• Prior experience with LTA and PUB projects is preferred.
• Strong leadership, planning, interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills to lead teams and manage subcontractors effectively.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks while meeting high standards and deadlines.
• Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and driven by excellence.
• Proficient in MS Project.
• Candidates who can start work on short notice will have an advantage.

Job Description:

• Promote a zero-accident culture within the company to achieve the group’s EHS KPI targets.
• Ensure compliance with Corporate EHS Policy by implementing actions to maintain and improve the Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) management system.
• Review statutory updates, identify relevant EHS requirements, and prepare procedures to ensure compliance with new regulatory requirements.
• Lead and facilitate internal and external audits/surveys related to compliance, EHS, and sustainability.
• Organize and lead regular EHS inspections, meetings, and monitoring of corrective/preventive actions.
• Ensure all incidents, accidents, and near-misses are reported immediately, formally investigated, and maintain thorough records of investigations.
• Plan and implement EHS training programs to enhance safety awareness.
• Collaborate with all departments, clients, and vendors/contractors to provide advice on EHS-related matters.
• Work with operations teams, vendors, and contractors to inspect machines, equipment, and processes for accident prevention. Conduct hazard identification and risk assessments.
• Educate and train employees to prioritize safety and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Manage the submission and approval of EHS licenses and permits required for factory.

Job Requirements:

• Professional qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Safety, or Environmental Engineering-related programs.
• Minimum 10 years of EHS experience in the Singapore construction industry, with experience in LTA projects preferred.
• MOM-registered WSHO and NEA-registered ECO certifications required.
• Strong knowledge of EHS policies and experience in developing new corporate policies.
• Completion of Leadership & People Management courses is an advantage.
• Proven leadership and interpersonal skills in managing site personnel, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Singapore statutory and legal SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) requirements.
• Ability to present a professional image and act in the company’s best interest.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across all departments and functions.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage all on-site technical and engineering-related matters.
• Ensure all works meet the company’s quality standards and contractual requirements.
• Participate in project planning and monitor project progress and schedules.
• Coordinate with clients and sub-contractors on all project aspects. Provide both technical and non-technical resolutions, followed by proper documentation.
• Assist the Project Manager in preparing monthly progress claims and reports.
• Supervise and guide Supervisors and Foremen to ensure compliance with client and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) practices are adhered to at all times.
• Propose cost-saving measures and innovative engineering solutions.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Singapore
• Minimum 3 years of Civil Engineering experience, specifically in LTA projects involving earthworks, roads, and drainage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and MS Project.
• Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) is a plus.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work with a positive attitude and sense of urgency.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
