Objective
- Responsible for supply and demand balancing of OMP products, execute planning of OMP products and raw materials to fulfil the agreed service levels to internal/external customers.
- Lead demand and supply review meeting for OMP products
- Drive planning excellence by identify gaps, propose and implement improvement initiatives
- Ensure optimal inventory level according to business needs and fulfil supply chain KPI
Responsibilities
- Act as subregion planner to perform raw materials, packaging and production planning via analyzing and balancing demand & supply
- Be the single point of contact in Supply Chain for OMP products between sales and customer service with regards to orders and confirm supply ability to sales/CS (Customer Service) according to raw material availability, production plan.
- Organize and lead demand and supply review meeting to review demand forecast, improve forecast accuracy together with sales team, identify supply shortage and resolve shortages together with procurement, production and sales team.
- Manage aging and slow-moving inventories, lead discussion with sales, business managers, production and lab team on clearance plan to prevent expired stock.
- Manage and coordinate products and business transfer (e.g. phase in/out, site transfer) as well as ensure master data of the products are updated properly.
- Actively review and implement planning business rules and stocking policy along the value chain.
- Responsible for master data maintenance and ensure high accuracy to support robust planning system process.
- Support continuous improvement of planning processes through participating/contributing to projects and planning community.
- SAP Support –Be the key user in planning process, material master data and support any system integration or migration.
- Provide support to supply chain team when needed.
- Annual Stock take - Perform Stock-Take Exercise & reconciliation as & when delegated.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (major in Supply Chain Management is preferred)
- At least 5 years of experience preferably in similar role in manufacturing plant environment
- Possess strong SAP knowledge especially in MRP.
- Experience in other planning tools will be an added advantage.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office includes Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good analytical, coordination and problem-solving skills
- Able to work under pressure and handle multi-tasks in a dynamic environment.
