Programme Officer (Part-Time)
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and driving impactful programmes? Join us at Chen Su Lan Methodist Children’s Home as a Programme Officer and play a key role in shaping our initiatives and ensuring they align with our vision and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
1) Home’s Programmes
- Assist in coordinating and reviewing programmes and services within the Home.
- Oversee programme plans and timelines to ensure milestones and goals are met.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align programme efforts with strategic priorities.
- Monitor and report on programme performance metrics, addressing challenges and celebrating achievements.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration for seamless initiative execution.
2) Secretariat for Subcommittees
Act as Secretariat for the Programmes Subcommittee and Audit Subcommittee, responsible for:
- Coordinating meetings and taking minutes.
- Liaising between subcommittees, stakeholders, and the Management Committee.
- Reviewing and documenting compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensuring confidentiality.
3) Data Protection Officer (PDPA)
Serve as the Data Protection Officer (DPO) responsible for:
- Ensuring compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
- Liaising with the PDPC on data protection matters.
4) Other Duties
- Actively collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver holistic outcomes for children.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director or Senior Head, Residential Services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferably with knowledge of governance, audit processes, or non-profit operations.
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Able to work 3 days (up to 24 hours) per week
