The Job
This role is responsible for planning and implementing fundraising strategies and campaigns; and growing sustainable income generation. This role requires a strong, charismatic personality with natural networking skills and the ability to build successful lasting relationships. Someone who is adaptable to fast paced environment, thinking out of the box and comfortable working under pressure and to deadlines.
Responsibilities
Fundraising
- Support Fundraising Manager in all fundraising activities and community outreach projects.
- Assist in identifying, developing and implementing innovative fundraising and community outreach activities, including leveraging on technology where possible, to improve fundraising activities.
- Provide support for collaborative fundraising with external stakeholders and potential donors.
- Coordinate approved corporate CSR and community projects.
- Support in all administration and operations of fundraising and related campaigns.
- Ensure compliance with prevailing regulatory requirements for fundraising activities.
- Identify community partners (business and community organisations) to fund projects costs.
- Provide detailed reports to the Donors concerning the utilization of donations.
- Prepare funding proposals to deliver presentations, donation appeals and appreciation letters.
- Maintain and update records and liaise with different business units.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality concerning prospects and donors.
Corporate Communications
- Assist in managing social media content for the organization websites and Facebook for relevance, quality, timelines and continuous improvement.
- Support media relations and press release activities conjunction with fundraising related campaigns.
- Assist in managing development of appropriate engagement channels including writing and production of annual reports and quarterly E-newsletters in a timely manner.
- Assist in developing contents for fundraising publicity and campaigns.
- Support the leadership team with crafting speeches, preparing presentations, drafting articles, arranging interviews, and maintaining other forms of external contact.
- Ensure general enquiries are attended to by relevant programme leaders.
- Support the organization in any special projects as assigned.
Requirement
- At least Diploma/Degree in Business/Marketing/Social Service
- Min 3 years’ experience in Sales/Marketing/Fundraising
- Goal-oriented with the ability in achieving and exceeding set targets/goals.
- Strong interpersonal skills in building and managing key relationships and the ability to deal with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Excellent presentation skills, verbal and written communication skills to write proposal and craft campaign.
