Responsibilities:
Children’s Cancer Foundation (CCF) is seeking a passionate and driven individual to join the Partnerships & Development Team. This role will focus on supporting stewardship and prospecting efforts for partners and donors in the following areas:
- Support CCF’s strategies to enhance existing partnerships and cultivate new relationships aligned with organizational goals.
- Engage potential and existing partners within corporates, community organisations, nonprofits, government agencies and other relevant stakeholders to build partnerships
- Plan, coordinate, and execute appreciation events, public education talks, and other stewardship initiatives aimed at community engagement and partnership development.
- Collaborate with internal departments to identify needs and create programme proposals and materials, compose appeals, applications and compile appropriate invitation lists to engage partners.
- Managing budget and resources related to partnerships actives and ensuring efficient allocation and tracking of expenses, procuring of quotes and approvals, supporting the preparation of records for internal reporting and audit checks.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of partner interactions and engagements in the database, evaluating partnership activities to ensure goals are met, and monitoring and tracking of grants, tracking accurate utilization and recognition for impact reporting.
- Undertake secretarial duties and administrative support where appropriate and execute other ad-hoc duty to further the goals of CCF where appropriate.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years of related experience in Fundraising and Philanthropy, Sales or Donor Relationship Management.
- Minimum Degree in Marketing and Communications, Events Management and Business Management or related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook; experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce is preferred.
- A passion for and interest in working within the social service sector.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and the ability to work both independently and within a multi-disciplinary team who thrives in collaborative environments and enjoy cross-departmental work.
- Display strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with a diverse group of people; highly organised and meticulous and responsible with the proven ability to multi-task, prioritise effectively and work well under pressure.
- Flexibility to work occasionally on weekends, if required.
