Manage and prepare the measurements and cost estimates for the construction projects from initial calculations to the final accounts.
Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
Evaluate tenders from contractors and subcontractors and, where appropriate, negotiate with the contractors.
Prepare contract documents in accordance to the regulations.
Prepare cost analysis and monitor project overruns to ensure the objectives of the project is achieved.
Access payment and variation works to client and subcontractors to facilitate the smooth workflow process.
Communicate with the client, management, sub-contractors and keeps track of the progression of both main contract and sub-contract.
Monitor and keep track of project progress and are responsible for the measurement and valuation of variations in the work during the contract, for agreement of interim payments and the final account.
Perform all duties in accordance with CCCC policies, processes, systems and procedures.
Any other adhoc tasks assigned by superior.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Survey or equivalent.
More than 4 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Acquired with both civils and architectural knowledges is preferable.
Good communication and negotiation skills.
Experience in LTA project, or similar scale, complexity and nature of work will be advantages.

Ensure procurement/award for permanent works is in accordance to approved procurement schedule, with the correct scope of works.
Interpret contractual clauses and prepare contractual correspondences.
Review all incoming and outgoing documents for any contractual implications.
Performs costs estimates.
Prepare and update cash flow charts.
Identify variation works.
Identify contractual and extension of time claims.
Liaise with consultants QS on progress payments and variation orders.
Estimate subcontractors’ final cost.
Estimate Main Contract Final Account.
Main Contract Final Account Settlement.
Leads Contract Section in monthly routine works such as preparation of subcontract payment certificates, main contract claim etc.
Job Requirement:

At least 20 years of experience in the procurement of civil projects and/or civil variation works.
At least 8 years of supervisory experience in managing a team of Quantity Surveyors.
Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and methodical approach to work
Excellent written, communication and negotiation skills
Ability to analyze contractual and legal issues and provide solutions using appropriate problem-solving techniques
Proficient and competent in MS Office applications, particularly in Excel.
Have experience in LTA projects have an advantage.
