- Responsible for formulating policies, setting standards applicable to all areas of IT/OT including hardware, software, communications and information services
- Ensure alignment of IT/OT strategy and roadmap are aligned with business objectives, requirements and global/regional IT standards
- Ensure communication and adoption of IT/OT standards and policies in the organization.
- Lead in IT/OT initiatives, projects and its implementation.
- Initiate and engage the management team in new technology projects, platform upgrades, and seek approval and buy-in.
- Act as an advisor to the management team on technology changes.
- Manage risk in data centre, infrastructure, ensuring back up plans and actions are taken at all times.
- Manage and take responsibility for IT/OT plan, budget and resource allocation.
- Responsible for the efficiency and effectiveness of the company’s technology platforms, infrastructure and systems
- Manage and meet the service level expectations of internal stakeholders and customers.
- Set performance metrics to measure service standards and expectations from stakeholders and customers.
- Ensure successful technical implementation of large and more complex information system projects in the Company.
- Take responsibility for the IT/OT Information Plan, Budget Control and Resource Plan for all relevant sites.
- Work with sector digitization/innovation managers’ site masterplan; anticipating and communicating future needs and innovation opportunities to management and service departments.
- Monitor site operations and collection of site vulnerability data, development of plans to address vulnerabilities
- Responsible for all technology system implementation, technical support and technology projects
- Lead, guide and train on people development on personnel’s competencies
- Drive organisational development by focusing on people development, organisational discipline and systemising processes and procedures.
- Engage stakeholders to advise and update on technology changes.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Information Technology / Computer Science
- Min 3 years of experience in IT/OT with 5 years at the managerial level
- Possess one of the following certifications: VMWare VCP certification (V6 and above), Azure or AWS.
- Technical knowledge of software and hardware aspects of IT/OT in areas such as data management, information systems development, computer operations and communications
- Knowledge of ITIL and Project Management would be an added advantage.
