Job description

Responsible for implementing site quality assurance and quality control system, in compliance with the quality standards at site.

• Engage the project team to deliver high quality works;
• Assess site operations and procedures daily and recommend improvement actions;
• Provide insights for defects and recommend preventive measures;
• Prepare monthly reports for Management;
• Conduct Internal Quality Audits;
• Compile trade information, test reports, and formalize documentation;
• Adhere to safety practices in the workplace.
• Obtain buy-in from project team towards quality assurance and quality control initiatives.
• Translate deep understanding of quality standards and requirements into site works.
• Attend meetings and inspections with Clients and suppliers.
• Compile and receive documentation including material certificates and test reports from Suppliers or Subcontractors
• Prepare, review and approve documentation submission to Client
• Coordinate and participate in inspections
• Raise Request for Inspection for all inspection activities and maintain records
• Assist in QHSE inspections or audits across all sites

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Education: certificate in Engineering or construction related field
• Experience: At least 5 years of building and/or civil engineering experience.

Technical Competencies

• Knowledge of quality requirement of BCA and contract specifications
• Quality Management Systems certification – ISO 9001,ISO 14001,ISO 45001.
• Knowledge in Structural works

Roles & Responsibilities

·To monitor and supervise sub contractors’ work progression according to shop drawings, method statements, material and samples

· To liaise and work with relevant authorities, sub-contractors or clients on shop drawings, materials and samples

·Review and align electrical design drawings to ensure compliance with design specifications and guidelines

·Knowledge in M&E and able to identify discrepancies between M&E, structural, ID, architectural and client provisions

· Manage and execute project as per the deadline

· Attend meeting with contractors to address issues and update progress

· Study and review drawings, specifications for compliance

·Allocate work and ensure jobs are correctly and properly achieved within standards and SOP.

Requirements

1, Diploma / Bachelor degree or above, major in Engineering or equivalent;

2. Minimum 1-2 years in the Construction Industry. Fresh graduate may be considered

3. Familiar with engineering construction process and relevant acceptance specifications, CAD software;

4. Flexible thinking, strong learning ability, a certain professional sensitivity;

5. Have a strong sense of responsibility and coordination skills.

6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and / or Chinese

Roles & Responsibilities:

Willingness to undertake night shift duty.

Able to work late hours and on weekends when required.

Excellent coordination and communication expertise gained through practice in the supervision of field staff

Liaise and coordinate internally with Clients and Contractors

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in Building Construction

Supervise workers at site

Good interpersonal skills

Certification in Supervision of Metal Scaffold Erection Course

Certification in Lifting Supervisors Safety Course

Safety Supervisor (BCSS)

Work-At-Height Course for Supervisor

Certificate in Building Construction Safety Supervisor Course
