Roles & Responsibilities

• Responsible for ALL M&E Construction Activites on Site reporting to Project Manager
• Manage construction activities and progress independently.
• Coordination and supervision of M&E works
• Liaise with M&E Consultants
• Monitor progress, quality of workmanship and compliance with authority requirements.
• Coordination with multiple parties not limiting to design consultants / engineers, clients’ project representatives, statutory / authority agencies etc. for the establishment of the design deliverables requirements for submission
• Review design deliverables together with the design consultants / engineers and ensure that it is in order for submission
• Attend to technical clarifications as and when required to address technical issues and establish method statements

Requirements

• Min. Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering discipline or equivalent.
• Extensive experience with at least 10 years of relevant experience in LTA Infrastructure, Mixed Development Projects for M&E Systems.
• Proven track records of successful project completion on time and on budget.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact with all levels of employees.
• Able to work on initiatives and to work as a team.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate C&S designs and ensure compliance with project specifications and local regulations.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure alignment between C&S designs and other disciplines.
• Review and provide input on civil and structural design drawings and documentation.
• Resolve design issues during construction and provide technical support to the site team.
• Ensure the integration of C&S designs with the architectural and M&E (mechanical & electrical) systems.
• Conduct design coordination meetings with consultants and project stakeholders.
• Monitor design progress to ensure timely delivery of drawings and documents for construction stages.
• Ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards in civil and structural design implementations.
• Prepare reports and updates on C&S design progress for project management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in civil and structural design coordination, preferably on large-scale construction projects.
• Experience in working with multidisciplinary teams and coordinating between design and construction teams.

• Collaborate with engineers, consultants, and contractors to ensure smooth integration of E&M systems with other project elements (civil, structural, and architectural).
• Conduct design reviews, ensuring alignment with project requirements and resolving any discrepancies or technical challenges.
• Liaise with LTA representatives and ensure design submissions are timely and meet LTA’s approval process.
• Manage and track the progress of E&M design deliverables to ensure timely completion.
• Assist in resolving on-site technical issues related to E&M systems and provide design clarification to construction teams.
• Ensure that safety and quality standards are upheld in all E&M design implementations.
• Prepare regular reports on the progress of E&M designs and updates for the project management team.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in E&M design coordination, particularly in infrastructure or transport-related projects.
• Experience working on LTA projects or other government-regulated transport infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
• Proven track record in managing the design and installation of electrical and mechanical systems.
