What you will be doing
This role aims to create a positive customer service experience for our members.
- Providing excellent customer service to Members, addressing enquiries, facilitating bookings and/or requests related to Club facilities, programmes, services, and activities, and/or other ad-hoc requests;
- Attend to members’ enquiries during the stipulated shift hours;
- Operates the Phone System, POS System and other payment systems;
- Process bookings of sports facilities (make / issue booking chits and keys to the facilities where applicable / turn on or off the facilities lights where applicable);
- Ensure proper recording of booking information and filing of booking chits;
- Issue towels and locker keys to members and ensure members sign out and sign in for them;
- Ensure related keys, equipment and towels are returned by members after use;
- Handle registration and withdrawal of sports activities and training programmes;
- Assist in administrative duties (letter typing, data entry, handling of mailers, photocopy of forms, replenishment of items for the counter etc.);
- Survey sports facilities to ensure all sports equipment/facilities are in proper working conditions and assist in sports activities;
- Addressing any member feedback, and/or concerns professionally;
- Be in proper attire at all times when attending to members’ enquiries during the stipulated shift hours;
- Any other duties as assigned from time to time by management.
What we are looking for
- Preferably GCE N/O Levels (or equivalent) or ITE Nitec/Higher Nitec in Services Management / Hospitality Operations / Event Management / Sport Management / Business Administration;
- Proficiency in oral and written English, another language is a plus (to liaise with the English & Mandarin-speaking associates);
- At least 1 year of working experience in the hospitality industry handling frontline services;
- Candidates without experience are welcome;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- A positive disposition and strong team player;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office skills required;
- Rostered rotated shift duties on a 5.5-day work week.
