Executive (Facilities/ Building)
Responsibilities
- Lead team of technicians and handyman in building / estate / facilities preventive and ad-hoc maintenance works
- Manage and plan maintenance of designated in-house building, facilities & equipment.
- Overseeing building projects and renovations if any.
- Conduct periodic routine inspections and tasks for the proper operations of the building / estate
- Attend to reports/feedback on minor repairs and replacement to plumbing, electrical systems/appliances.
- Monitor contractors works to ensure works are completed according to specs.
- Co-ordinate, negotiate and administer contracts with providers for services including security, parking, cleaning, etc.
- Ensuring that facilities meet government regulations, health and security standards and energy efficiency requirements.
- Workplace safety management
- Assist in the supervision of maintenance and servicing works carried out by contractors
- Manage service contractors and sub-contractors on site work and to report irregularities to site manager
- Attend to breakdown of building / estate services and tenants’ service calls
- Assist in handing and taking over of units and spaces with tenants or event organizers for Commercial Building / Offices
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in building maintenance
- Good knowledge in building, mechanical & electrical systems
- Able to interact with people and a good team player
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, pro-active and self-driven
