Assists the Facilities Management Executive (FME) in the following:
- Ensure general upkeep and cleanliness of premises.
- Supervise the Cleaning Contractors to ensure all cleaning works are carried out satisfactorily and according to the schedule.
- Overseeing landscape maintenance is performed by the landscape contractor satisfactorily and according to the schedule.
- Monitor scheduled servicing of Housekeeping, M&E & ACMV, and other installations.
- Coordinate ad-hoc renovations and repairs.
- Assist the FME in compliance with building and fire safety requirements and regulations, including responding to fire alarms, managing fire drills, and inspecting fire extinguishers.
- Conduct checks of the church building’s furniture, facilities, and equipment, and report areas that are spoilt, faulty, and damaged and need replacements and repairs.
- Hands-on minor repairs of the church facilities, e.g., minor plumbing repairs, changing light bulbs, changing door locks, etc.
- I take care of the Church Van; I routinely check the fuel level and cash card value. Send the van for servicing at the prescribed frequency.
2. OTHERS
- When major events are held on the church premises, whether hosted by COOS or other organizations, EFMD staff will be involved in supporting the event.
- Any other duties as assigned by the Department Head.
