• At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the civil construction industry
• Past experiences in working on Statutory Boards projects
• Good presentation and communication skills in English
• Familiar with the use of Microsoft Office-PowerPoint/Word/Excel
• Possessing recognized ECO and ECMO license will be a plus
• Comfortable working with colleagues and workers from different nationalities and cultures
• Composure and professionalism while carrying out his/her due diligence as a WSHO

Job Description

• Plan and schedule work sequences for construction operation
• To study tender/construction drawings, specifications and contracts to understand project requirements
• Liaise with consultants, clients & main / sub-contractors and coordinate for site activities arrangement
• Perform site inspection and ensure that the work are carried out based on the project specification and construction drawing / final approved drawing from authorities
• Lead a team of supervisors / foreman for works coordination with main/sub-contractors and/or authorities and/or consultant on project progress and technical issues
• Planning and deployment of resources such as manpower, machinery, equipment and material
• Preparation of progress reports, Method Statements and technical submissions
• Ensure the project complies with regulations and clients’ specifications
• Adhere to safety and health regulations and aim for zero accident in the workplace
• To perform ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Possess a degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineer (PE) Board.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Civil Engineering.
• Candidates with 6 years of Civil Engineering experience may be considered for the position of Senior Project Engineer.
• Demonstrates organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a positive work attitude with a sense of urgency.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills are essential for effective collaboration and problem-solving.
