As an Engineer under Engineering- Manufacturing System and Automation, you will be tasked to provide operational technical support to drive productivity and product quality with GxP compliance and regulatory requirements. You will also assist to drive/ execute control and automation projects and provide maintenance, backup and restore for IPC and PLCs. You will also carry out / support investigation for non-conformances.

In this role, a typical day will include:

· 1st level engineering support for major equipment downtime [24x7 supports]

· Focus on solving recurring/ long-term equipment issues through detailed understanding of the design or engineering concepts.

· Maintain and perform routine check and backup/restore for Industrial PCs/ PLCs.

· Lead and support automation/control related projects. Develop/review project documentations and related SOPs. Perform equipment/software validation.

· Prepare training materials on respective process/ system/ equipment in term of operation, maintenance or troubleshooting.

· Innovate, provide and implement ideas for process or equipment improvement.

· Ensure the system/equipment are comply with HSE, and Alcon quality requirement

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

· Minimum 0-3 years of intensive hands on experiences in technical (Electrical/ Mechatronic /Electronic/Physics/ Automation) troubleshooting and experience on Siemens S7/TIA Portal, Beckhoff TwinCAT and/or Allen Bradley PLC.

· Experience on factory automation system installation/validation and understanding of GMP/GDP requirement.

• Perform goods receipts (GR) physical and transactions in SAP system.
• Raw material issuance to production (physical and system).
• Perform monthly cycle count and yearly stock take.
• Ensure inventory accuracy in the warehouse.
• Ensure compliance to SOP, ISO, GMP/GDP, AFCM, FDA, MDSAP and HSE regulatory.

• Perform Palletizing of finished goods.
• Load and unload pallet to/from racking.

As a Quality System Associate, you will be responsible for the customer complaint handling/ management/ investigation process and provide quality oversight for the site to ensure that devices manufactured are compliant to ISO 13485, MDSAP, EU MDR, Alcon Standards and Policies, and regulatory requirement.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Trend, analyse and monitor key performance indicators, suggest improvements, and escalate to supervisor/management as necessary.
• Identify improvement opportunities and lead/support the implementation activities to improve performance and efficiency.
• Meet quality objectives set by management & comply to Alcon, QMS and Safety requirements.
• Complete Complaint investigation report and maintenance of complaint master list, complaint samples, SOP revision and periodic review.
• Perform Site's investigation (NCR, SAR, OOS, Complaints, etc) and Site's WI/SOP/Gap Assessment/Impact Assessment.
• Participate as site representative in the Vision Care Complaints community at Global Corporate Platform.
• Lead/Host the site Customer Complaint Review Board (CCRB) meeting in the discussion on complaint investigations and evaluation of complaints trend.
• Support internal and external audits and is responsible for audit finding closure, as required.
• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve operational quality issues.
• Perform Monthly Technical Complaint Periodic trending (all platforms).
• Performs any other duties as assigned by Supervisor according to business needs

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

• 1-3 years work experience in quality field, experience in GMP environment will be highly advantageous

As a Manager, Learning & Training, the incumbent is responsible for developing, planning and managing the site overall learning and development strategy for organizational culture, behaviors, talent and leadership development. The person will also be responsible for site technical skill competency framework including to create an effective approach to conduct skill competency gap assessment and evaluation for all associates in order to transform our associates to be workforce 4.0 ready.

JOB SCOPE

• Develop, Implement Learning & Development strategy aligned to business strategy, with clear priorities.
• Partnering with the business functions to identify competency gap, developing short term and long-term learning & development intervention.
• Plan & conduct site Training Needs Analysis and formulate Site Training Plan
• Plan & conduct site technical skills competency assessment and formulate relevant training with relevant business leaders
• Digitalize and apply AI technology in Learning Needs Analysis process, formulation of a total learning master plan, up-keeping of learning database.
• Manage and coordinate regulatory / mandatory training to meet internal and external compliance needs.
• Facilitate site training and workshops which deemed appropriate.
• Providing L&D related methodologies advice to key stakeholders.
• Manage Site Learning & Development (L&D) budget.
• Work with relevant Singapore government agencies like WSG, SBF and e2i to maximise funding to learning and development activities of sites, where possible.
• Partnering with Talent Acquisition for early adoption of learning and development program to build talent pipeline, like internship, apprenticeship, traineeship program to meet the manpower plan and requirement.
• Lead & partnering with Site HRBP to formulate and enhance site onboarding and orientation programs to provide strong emotional engagement for new hires.
• Coordinate & plan site relevant business strategy & leadership workshops
• Site lead to manage external L&D related vendors.
• Supporting risk management and governance – CLC’s and various compliance / quality audit
• System optimization and continuous improvement in Learning and Development processes.

REQUIREMENT

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, learning and development, organization development or a related discipline
• Min 10 years L&D experience and/ or HR professional handling L&D or organization development tasks across different levels of employees in the same business unit, preferably in manufacturing multinational organizations.
• Experience in plan, design, deploy, facilitate, and conduct training.
• Good communication skills, strong learning agility, dynamic and enjoy working in a fast paced environment.
• At least 3 years as site lead/manager role in L&D.
