Specialist Clinic seeking to hire an enrolled nurse with at least 3 years of experience in the outpatient clinic setting.

Duties include triaging patients, patient registration, assisting doctor during consultations, helping to dispense medication, making appointments for the patient, and attending to miscellaneous needs in the clinic. The candidate should be familiar with clinic software systems e.g. Plato, Clinic Assist, etc. The candidate should be comfortable with using IT and computers and should be familiar with applications such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

The candidate should have compassion for the patients and exhibit professionalism in patient communication as well as in executing the duties assigned.

Our Clinic is looking for an experienced Clinic Assistant or Clinic Nurse (Enrolled Nurse, Staff Nurse) to work with the team.

The clinic assistant/nurse would be required to perform duties in the clinic such as attending to the reception, taking vital signs for patients, assisting in dispensing medication, billing, setting appointments, sending appointment reminders.

The clinic assistant/nurse would also be required to upkeep the clinic, including infection control, cleanliness of the clinic, medical records, medical equipment, and any other miscellaneous duties.

The clinic assistant/nurse would need to assist the doctor in the room during consultation and procedures.

The candidate should have at least 3 years of working experience at a specialist outpatient clinic. The candidate should also be familiar with the use software systems (e.g. Clinic Assist, Plato) for registration, billing, dispensing, scheduling appointments. The candidate should be familiar with using e-mails and microsoft word.

For the position of Clinic Assistant, the candidate should have at least on "O" level certificate or equivalent. For the position of Enrolled Nurse, the candidate should have had training from ITE or polytechnic equivalent. For the clinic staff nurse position, the candidate should have a valid practicing certificate.

The applicant should be a staff nurse / registered nurse / enrolled nurse with at least a Diploma in Nursing from ITE, Nanyang Polytechnic or other relevant institutes.

Prior working experience with children is preferred, e.g. paediatric nurse, previous experience in childcare centres, infant care facilities, etc.

The clinic nurse must be able to triage patients, take vital signs for the patients, register patients, assist the doctor in providing care of the patient, assist in dispensing medication, administer prescribed medication to children and perform other simple nursing care procedures (e.g. collection of stool and urine samples).

The applicant should have at least 3 years of working experience in an outpatient clinic.

Computer literacy and English language proficiency are important for this position.
