The Team

Banking as a service is growing team; focused on core Product, Product development and E-Commerce commercialization. The team is tasked to design, develop, and deploy Banking as a service solutions that allow our clients to Collect, Hold and Pay; as an end to end service. Thus, enabling our clients to grow digital businesses at scale.

The team manages the end-to-end product management and development process from concept formation to strategy, business requirement, design and development, pilot launch, global rollout, and commercialization.

The Position

Banking as a Service(BaaS) Product Manager – Asia N & S. The Product Manager is a full-time, dedicated position reporting to the Payer ID Global Product Head.

Responsibilities:

• To own, deliver and manage specific product services that are being built as part of Payer ID Engine rollout in the cluster.
• Partner with clients on key issue management, process improvement and development opportunities.
• Redesign and implement services to minimize and eliminate friction to enable digital commerce flows. Work with Technology partners on optimization of present processes.
• Manage Payer ID Engine rollout in the cluster.
• Work with key stakeholders to manage Product related requirements for clients.
• Partner with key stakeholders from AML, Compliance, Sanctions & Legal.
• Partner with operations to ensure key client flows are processed and reported accurately & timely.

• Must represent their domain area of knowledge, reach back into their function for support and advice as required.
• Good understanding of Payment operations, Technology and second line functions.

Experience, Qualifications

10+ years’ relevant product management experience, preferably with a background in managing cross-product relationships in the financial services industry / Fintech / Digital commerce.

• 3+ years’ direct or indirect external client experience is a MUST.
• Experience with digital product strategy and execution is a MUST.
• Prior experience of working with second line partners is a MUST.
• Experience in successful implementation of large, customer experience projects while managing cross functional stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to be able to respond quickly and creatively to complex issues.

The Product Sales Specialist is a regional sales role that is part of the global Cash & Inside Sales team. The role deals with complex cash management requirements for the most demanding and sophisticated multi-national clients operating across Asia Pacific and Japan. This role is expected to develop and grow client relationships by understanding client needs and delivering solutions across the full range of cash management products and services that Citi can offer and will be a combination of event driven sales e.g. responding to large scale and/or complex regional tenders in the form of RFIs (Request for information), RFPs (Request for Proposals) and proactive sales e.g. targeted proactive engagement for key select acquisition names or defensive names for the firm. The key objective of the role is to increase penetration of the Bank’s TTS services within the existing regional client base as well as acquiring new clients for the Bank across CB / GNB client segments and is a driver in generating revenue through new TTS deals.

Responsibilities:

• Plays a leading role in setting and executing overall deal strategy for each deal, which includes solution structuring, pricing strategy and negotiation, marketing/pitching approach
• Responsible for coordinating internal deal processes e.g. obtaining internal approvals / sign-off, closing, handover to implementation
• The individual is accountable for delivering against client (i.e. deal wins) and acts as a center of expertise / excellence in cash management solutioning to support focused regional client opportunities

The Core Custody Product team focuses on developing custody products for the Custody business lines, bother Hub and Domestic. Citi provides settlement, custody and asset servicing solutions to investor clients through a global network of sub custodians. The domestic business provides clearing, settlement, custody & asset servicing to global financial institutions through a proprietary branch network spanning Asia, EMEA and the Americas.

The Core Custody Product team are seeking a strong Product Development leader in the APAC region who can work within the asset servicing team ensuring it meets its goals of supporting both custody businesses by focusing on the development of Asset Servicing capabilities globally.

The individual will work with the Core Custody Asset Servicing Product team and support, manage, and drive the team with specific focus on the APAC region. Working closely with business, legal, risk and operational partners’ for Custody in identifying and implementing product changers/enhancements in line with business, regulatory and market mandatory requirements. Actively participate in Industry forums to ensure that Citi is kept abreast of market changes and that Citi views are represented.

The Deposits & Investments (D&I) Product Manager for Japan Asia North Australia (JANA) and Asia South (AS) cluster is responsible for the strategy and execution of the global D&I strategy in these clusters. This includes pricing engine rollouts, transformation of time deposits, overdrafts management, earnings credit rates programs, money market fund offerings and interest repricing initiatives. They are the focal point for D&I product management (including risk and control/compliance in the clusters) and work with sales to commercialize D&I solutions.

Responsibilities:

• ​Work with the Global D&I team to define the vision and strategy for D&I solutions in JANA and AS clusters.
• Partner with the Global D&I and with the LMS Cluster team to research client needs/competitor actions.
• Provide input on client value propositions, positioning, segmentation, pricing, targeting, channel strategies, and competitive differentiation to help D&I achieve preferred status as a partner to Citi clients.
• Define the product development roadmap for the two cluster and advocate for the cluster at investment spend discussions.
