1.Manage and Supervise the project engineers.
Preparation of project documents and engineering drawings
2. To handle incoming and outgoing documents and drawings and ensure proper tracking and distribution to appropriate parties
3. Coordinate and support the drafting team
4. Assist the project team by coordinating document status and distribution
5. File and archive documentation to facilitate easy retrieval
6. Liaise with respective vendors/subcontractors for equipment/material submission approval and checking of submittal by vendors/ subcontractors before submission
7. Ensure that the expenditure of the projects is kept within budgeted costs and targeted margin
8. Perform sourcing, evaluate and recommend for purchase
9. Ensure purchasing activities of the raising purchase requisition, and purchase orders are processed in a timely and accurate manner
10. Manage receipt and delivery of goods purchased
11. Manage and arrange site works with sub-contractors
12. Liaise with main contractors/ subcontractor/ site engineers regarding site requirements and progress
13. Lead, monitor, and implement the projects with the assurance that following requirements meet timelines, workmanship, safety, and technical aspects
14. Attend site meetings with the owner, consultants, and main contractors on all matters relating to project operation and coordination
15. Conduct site surveys before delivery
16. Supervise site works to achieve good quality and progress
17. Conduct periodic safety inspections and attend WSH meeting
18. Check, evaluate and monitor subcontractor site work progress
19. Identify and resolve technical problems
20. Involve in site commissioning works
21. Assess the performance of the contractors and verify their claims for variations and payments
22. Perform any other ad hoc duties
Requirement:
- Min Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Min 1 year of project management experience in a similar industry (for supervisor role is min 3 years)
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken
- Good working knowledge of MS Office
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Ability to read General arrangement drawings, Layout drawings, shop drawings, electrical single-line diagram
- Ability to work under pressure of meeting timelines
- Ability to identify potential or actual causes of delay and take preventive/ remedial actions
- Self-motivated and results-oriented
- Building Construction Safety Supervisor Course (BCSS) certificate is preferred
