Role: Application Development Manager

You will support the implementation and lifecycle management of the process data collection, management, and reporting infrastructure. You will implement the OSIsoft PI data historian system, production reporting systems and analytical systems to allow the start-up, commissioning, validation, and maintenance of large-scale manufacturing facilities.

Job Scope

• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Business SMEs, Validation, QA and Engineering to implement manufacturing data solutions
• Promote the increase of Site Data Historian usage to support new projects and existing value streams
• Complete extract, transform, and load ("ETL") procedures and data migration from multiple sources
• Lead projects as assigned
• Participate in the development and implementation of application/system solutions in line with S88 standards for the plant.
• Develop and maintains applications according to technical design and requirements.
• Design & Develop plan for modifications to be made to the system through working with team in development of systems architecture, specifications, controls strategies, sequence of operations through all stages.
• Provide operations support on production systems
• Use best practices on data management and visualisation to achieve our goals
• Responsible for the design and delivery of DeltaV application system on site.
• Participate in the development and implementation of Automation solutions in line with S88 standards for the plant.
• Creates and maintains applications according to technical design and requirements.
• Develop and/or review System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) deliverables, compliant with the site’s standards. Determine the processes and data flow that supports the needs of the project.
• Design & Develop plan for modifications to be made to the system through working with team in development of systems architecture, specifications, controls strategies, sequence of operations through all stages.
• Provide support to other MES system users as required to ensure business continuity.
• Participate in MES projects from initiation to ensure MES system or hardware requirements are taken into consideration.

Requirements

• Understanding of Osisoft PI Architecture and essential components.
• Proficient in Osisoft PI products required, SQL database or similar, or System Design and Maintenance
• Proficient in project management principles and project lifecycle phases
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, network and database concepts
• Knowledge of cGMPs and manufacturing operations in FDA regulated facility (preferred, not essential)
• Werum PAS-X/Aspen/Syncade, Siemens MES (Camstar / Opcenter / Simatic IT) product hands-on experience for full application configurations including interface with SAP and automation systems
• Emerson DeltaV DCS experience and DeltaV Batch experience required
• Experience in the Designing and commissioning of DeltaV DCS project for GMP manufacturing site.

Sr. Lab IT System Programmer /Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support qualification of various IT system from (Lab/Shopfloor/ manufacturing )
• Provide IT support in configuration, system setup, vulnerability management, enabling DI controls etc. for New & existing systems.
• Review programmable code outlined in technical specifications for operating systems used.
• Supports DI assessment/remediation and inventory management of Automation and lab systems.
• Supports project lead to plan, schedule and execute project activities where applicable.
• Coordinates with vendor/extended team for execution and validation on various manufacturing systems & equipment’s.
• Supports Lab Operation Lead/Project leads to ensure effective project management, system qualification & operation support.
• Support network/system architecture assessment for Automation/Laboratory systems with adherence to IT policies.
• Provide hands-on support to system owners or vendors during configuration and system setup.
• Setup System administration controls (User management, System & Data Back-up management, DI controls etc).
• Support Retirement activities of the systems (Virtualization, Data restoration etc).
• Support all System Lifecycle documents associated with the system.
• Support cGMP risk assessments, user requirements & functional specifications, validation plans, protocols (i.e., IQ, OQ, PQ), traceability matrices, reports, addendums, decommissioning plans and other validation deliverables as required by the site validation SOPs.
• Work with Systems owner(s) to ensure the initiation and implementation of global change control activities are in accordance with site procedures
• Practices a culture of continuous learning, develops business and technical skills, identifies opportunities to skill-up of individual and Team.

Requirements

• Strong relevant technical experience in the Pharmaceutical, or manufacturing-based industry, including IT or Automation Support
• Demonstrated capability in application of appropriate troubleshooting.
• Effective communication skills, ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Ability to demonstrate leadership behaviours in alignment with the Client leadership standards
• Able to work independently and prioritize work based on given timeline.
