As we continue to expand our discretionary fund offerings, we are looking for a driven, flexible individual to join our team on a part-time, flexible basis. The primary focus of this role will be to market and promote our discretionary funds to potential clients, helping to drive business growth and increase assets under management.
The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented marketing and business development professional to focus on promoting and marketing our discretionary investment funds. You will be responsible for identifying and engaging potential clients, building relationships, and effectively communicating the benefits and unique value proposition of our discretionary funds.

Key Responsibilities:
- Fund Marketing: Develop and implement strategies to market our discretionary funds to high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and institutional investors. Details of the fund: https://www.plattslane.com/
- Client Acquisition: Identify and engage potential clients through networking, industry events, referrals, and direct outreach.
- Client Presentations: Create and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and investment pitches to prospective clients, explaining the strategy, performance, and benefits of our discretionary funds.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential clients, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and client retention.
- Business Development: Work closely with senior leadership to drive business growth and increase assets under management (AUM).
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and client needs to refine marketing strategies and identify new business opportunities.
- Reporting: Track marketing and business development metrics, reporting on performance and growth targets.
Who We're Looking For:
- Experience: 8 to 10 years of experience in marketing, business development, or sales within the asset management or wealth management industry. Established network of relevant contacts, especially in Southeast Asia and Dubai.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of discretionary investment funds, asset management strategies, and financial markets.
- Skills: Exceptional communication, presentation, and networking skills. Ability to convey complex investment concepts in a clear and compelling way.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in client acquisition, relationship management, and business development within the financial services industry. Demotrated success and track record in raising of AUM in the asset or wealth management space.
- Flexibility: Ability to work independently with a flexible schedule. Comfortable working remotely and managing client relationships in a self-directed manner.
- Educational Background: A degree in finance, business, economics, or related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CFP) are a plus.

Compensation:
