APAC Recruitment is working exclusively with Congo Brands in its search for a commercially focused Finance Business partner, to lead the APAC region’s commercial & supply chain finance agenda, working closely with the Business Unit Finance Director as well as APAC Directors of Sales and Supply Chain.

The company is now establishing an APAC Regional HQ in Singapore as it expands into Asia Pacific, beginning with the PRIME Hydration, PRIME Energy and Alani Nu ranges.

The Role

The Supply Chain Analyst on the APAC Operations Team will be a key member and enabler of the organization, providing operational support in order management and warehousing/logistics operations across APAC. The role will also either lead or support key regional operational excellence initiatives and projects and ensure their completion and delivery of results

This role will apply analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and business acumen to drive sustainable growth and competitive advantage for Congo Brands in Asia Pacific. The role is highly collaborative as it will partner with customers, warehouse/logistics service providers, and internal stake holders across all departments. The team will be the owner for cash, cost and service KPIs in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Own the order fulfillment process from order entry, delivery to revenue recognition
• Lead the order management process to ensure the right orders are processed accurately, and delivered on time/in full
• Effectively and pro-actively engage with internal/external customers, distribution centres, logistics partners, supply chain and finance partners to ensure delivery and revenue commitments are met 
• Respond to customer queries and/or returns to ensure prompt and satisfactory resolution
• Analyze quantitative and qualitative Inventory, Forecast, Sales, Logistics, and Financial Data.
• Communicate daily with internal stakeholders ensuring everyone has clarity on open orders and delivery status.
• Communicate relevant ordering information, changes and cancellations to purchase orders to cross-functional team in the region
• Liaise and work with cross-functional team to track down & resolve shipments and transportation issues.
• Partner with functional managers in Supply Chain Management to understand the current and future business requirements; identify and implement process and organizational improvements.
• Play a key role in relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Perform analysis of shipment timing to support monthly revenue forecast.
• Provide analytical feedback related to manufacturing cost, timing, and inventory levels.
• Design, test, recommend and implement efficient processes to manage workflow and Supply Chain.
• Optimization of existing processes and resources with clear goals and benchmarks of improvement, development, and management of sound business practices and efficient processes
• Perform other duties as assigned.

This position requires high calibre candidates with the following skillset

• Degree or Diploma with relevance in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Engineering
• 2+ years of working in an FMCG environment.
• Preferred Industries: Food and Beverage, CPG
• 1+ years of ERP experience (Preferably SAP S/4HANA, Netsuite)
• Advance Microsoft Excel Skills; PowerBI/PowerAutomate would be an advantage
• Pro-active owner for improving current processes.
• Excellent collaborator and relationship builder; internal and external.

The Role

As a Project Manager at Congo Brands, you will ensure deliverables are met in a timely manner and gain a good level of understanding of the development to be able to communicate the projects status to senior management, whilst being comfortable in challenging the paradigm when required.

You will join a recently formed regional office in Singapore, and the role will initially require a hands-on and can-do approach. But, even when systems and procedures are in place, the rapid expansion will ensure an exciting and fast-paced journey.

Key responsibilities

• Overall Project Leadership: Lead planning, execution, and monitoring of key regional projects from ideation to execution and successful launch, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as a central point of contact across multi-functional teams, drive effective communication, collecting functional requirements, and developing collaboration frameworks to enhance organizational efficiency.
• Financial Healthiness: Analyzes the project’s cost structure and any significant deviations from the approved cost structure.
• Process Optimization: Design, implement, and refine key processes, ensuring they are well-documented and guided for continuous operational improvement to deliver goals for the organization
• Meeting and Reporting Excellence: Organize and oversee functional team meetings and reports, ensuring that key decisions, updates, and information are timely documented and disseminated across stakeholders.
• Risk and Change Management: Identify project risks and issues proactively, establish mitigation strategies, and ensure robust solutions are implemented to maintain project momentum.
• Data-Driven Insights: Leverage data to support decision-making, monitor project performance, and provide actionable recommendations for leadership.

This position requires high calibre candidates with the following skillset

·       Education Qualifications: Degree; PMP qualifications will be a plus

·       Experience: 2-3 years of experience in project management, market research, or business analysis, preferably within FMCG or F&B industry

·       Critical Thinking: Strong analytical and logical thinking skills, with a proven ability to manage diverse projects through comprehensive planning, risk assessment, and SOP development.

·       Communication Skills: Confident and savvy communication skills, capable of delivering clear, concise messages and building productive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across all levels.

·       Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, quickly learn new tools and processes, and effectively handle changing priorities.

·       Motivation and Initiative: Self-driven and proactive, with a strong track record in operations and management.

·       Technical Skills: High degree of proficiency Excel, Powerpoint; knowledge in PowerBI and Monday.com will be a plus

·       Travel: Occasional travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required.

This position requires high calibre competence with the following skillset:

• Ability to co-ordinate AR operations for a fast-paced regional FMCG MNC
• Experience accounting for inventory an advantage
• ERP systems knowledge (experience with ERP implementation is an advantage)
• Working knowledge of US GAAP & IFRS
• High level of technical ability, alongside strong planning, problem-solving and organizational skills
• Accounting qualification an advantage
