Connect Energy partners with a manufacturing company in the oil and gas / marine industry to look for an ASSISTANT SUPPLY CHAIN ENGINEER to work in their office in Singapore.
Responsibilities:
For Sales Support
- Manage customers' requests, both technically and commercially and consult all disciplines and department required
- Provide advice and solutions to customers, in close co-operation with several departments, such as Service, Supply Chain, Engineering departments, to offer the best fit solution on all requests and enquiries to comply with customer needs and specifications
- Evaluate customer terms and conditions to comply with agreed Company's Ts& Cs, MSA and/or SLA a
- Initiate, coordinate, evaluate and follow up cost estimations for parts quotations purposes with all applicable departments
- Define timelines and delivery dates
- Analyse customer orders, both technically and commercially and consult all disciplines and department required
- Ensure authorization on received orders and confirmation of the order to client
Administrative
- Process order into inhouse ERP system
- Record and administer customer offer and order progress information, according to CRSM system requirements.
- Organize and chair necessary meetings
- Ensure direct and timely reporting to Account Management, Principals and stakeholders on the status of the solution proposal processes
- Collect, register and report all solution proposal information for customer and product management company database
Reports
- Follow up orders received and confirm authorized orders to clients
- Prepare Purchase Requests and hand over to Supply Chain
- Monitor timely delivery of purchased goods and customer orders, report non conformances to Account Management immediately
- Initiate instructions for the transportation of finished goods to the Supply Chain Department
- Ensure the direct and timely reporting to Account Management, Principals and stakeholders on the status of the solutions proposal progress.
- Initiate instructions and documentation for the transportation of receipt goods to the client
Invoicing
- Ensure completion of all orders related information is ready to prepare the invoice to the customer upon delivery of the items or services as agreed rates and terms
- Monitoring when the payment is received confirmation is received from client and initiating the order execution in case of advance payment
Teamwork and innovation
- Identify deviation and/or distortions which will be reported to the designated AM
- Provide ideas, suggestions and interpretation for improvement for customer relation management and further growth of the Company
Requirements
- Diploma in Engineering
- Min. 2 years relevant experience in manufacturing company ideally in oil and gas industry.
- Good attitude, self-motivating and desire to learn.
- Ability to work in a team or as an individual
- Willing to work in Tuas vicinity
