Job Responsibilities:

You will play an important role in:

• Designing and delivering a range of landscape projects internationally with a track record;
• Developing, modifying and reviewing drawings for landscape architecture projects;
• Demonstrating creative thinking abilities and contributing to firm-wide design excellence and problem solving;
• Demonstrating understanding of the relationship between design and constructability;
• Incorporating integrated sustainable design solutions into projects;
• Submitting your project timesheet on every 15th and the last day of each month;
• Any other duties assigned by the team leader but not limited to the above

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, we will need you to be:

• A holder of Degree or Diploma in Landscape Architecture
• Experienced in relevant industry for a minimum of 1 year with proficiency in design
• Excellent in graphics, strong at design and skillful in communicating effectively
• Experienced in Resort / Urban design
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch-up, Enscape and MS Office
• Experienced in working overseas or in an international environment would be an advantage
• Responsible, mature, self-motivated, resourceful, a team player and possess excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
• Applicants with less experience who can demonstrate exceptional design skill and potential will also be considered

Coopers Hill is looking for design focused Landscape Architects (Softscape) / Horticulturist to join our office in Asia. Landscape Architects (Softscape) / Horticulturist are key members of our creative team, actively involved in a diverse range of local and international projects.

Responsibilities:

• Creative candidate who is capable of leading landscape projects from concept to construction
• Ability to prepare softscape design packages from conceptual stage to Softscape Working Drawing stage
• Demonstrates creative thinking abilities and contributes to firm wide design excellence and problem solving
• Preparation of tender documents, tender evaluation report, final account documentation and conduct tender interview
• Ability to carry out site implementation work is preferred
• Any other duties assigned by the team leader but not limited to the above

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture or equivalent
• Over 5 years of experience in a professional landscape architectural design service firm
• Excellent knowledge of tropical and sub-tropical plant materials and experienced in Planting Design
• Passion for softscape design is preferred
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Word and Excel
• Excellent graphics, strong design and effective communication skills are essential
• Highly motivated and able to work independently as well as a team
• Must be mature, well organized, and confident with a pleasant disposition and strong interpersonal skills and able to multi-task
• Quick learner with a high level of commitment will have an advantage
• Willing and able to occasionally travel overseas

• Demonstrating understanding of the relationship between design and constructability
• Incorporating integrated sustainable design solutions into projects
• Participating in managing client relationships and representing Company Brand when meeting with clients and other consultants
