About the role
As a Pharmacist (QA), you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of healthcare products within the company's supply chain operations in the Pioneer West Region. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the delivery of critical healthcare services.
What you'll be doing
- Developing and implementing quality assurance protocols for the procurement, storage, and distribution of pharmaceutical and medical products
- Conducting routine inspections and audits to monitor compliance with relevant regulations and standards
- Investigating and resolving any quality-related issues or complaints
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimise supply chain processes and ensure the timely delivery of products
- Providing expert guidance and training to warehouse and logistics personnel on best practices for handling and storing healthcare products
- Maintaining comprehensive documentation and reporting on quality control activities
- Staying up-to-date with industry regulations, guidelines, and emerging best practices in pharmaceutical quality assurance
What we're looking for
- Registered Pharmacist with a valid practicing certificate
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality assurance or regulatory role within the pharmaceutical or healthcare supply chain industry
- Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Distribution Practices (GDP), and other relevant quality standards and regulations
- Proficient in data analysis, report writing, and project management
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance
