Commercial Manager
Overview:
Launched in late 2023, Creation Collective (CC) is an innovative new live entertainment company, which is rolling out a roster of music and general interest events across APAC, as well as developing its own proprietary ticketing and fan engagement platform.
With a strong growth strategy and ambitious plans, CC is set to disrupt the regional industry and provide consumers with a plethora of exciting experiences.
Summary:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee budgets to ensure resources are allocated correctly and financial goals are met.
- Oversee financial aspects of events, including budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring profitability.
- Partner with event production, marketing, and sales teams to ensure financial alignment with business objectives and event strategies.
- Support recommendations on sponsorship deals, ticket pricing, F&B and merchandising opportunities.
- Monitor and report on the profitability of each event, ensuring that financial targets are met.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process for live events, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Collaborate with the CFO to assess and manage financial risks, ensuring robus supporting financial planning for all projects.
- Conduct post-event performance reviews, offering insights to enhance future planning and profitability.
- Identify potential risks in commercial agreements and take proactive steps to mitigate them.
- Support contract negotiations and financial evaluations of vendors, suppliers, and partners.
- Prepare detailed reports on commercial activities and present performance reports to stakeholders, highlighting key insights and opportunities for improvement.

- An excellent communicator and team player.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with attention to detail.
- Proven experience in a commercial finance role within live entertainment, events, or related industries.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving profitability and strategic growth.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with various teams to align financial goals with business objectives.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
- Experience with
financial commercial planning software and advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Good knowledge of major ticketing audits and reports is an advantage.
- Familiarity with event sponsorship deals, ticketing revenue models, and vendor management.
- A degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field.
