We are seeking to host a passionate East Asian Marketing Specialist for the rest of 2024 as a temporary member of the marketing team working closely with our business partner based in Spain. Our business partner is a Spanish consulting firm specialized in securing public and private funding for disruptive innovation, comprising a team of engineers, PhDs, investment managers, and other deep tech professionals.
The candidate will help expand our business partner’s presence into the East Asian Market and create and execute marketing campaigns, highlighting our business partner’s brand.
Responsibilities:
- Manages marketing activities in East Asia to expand our business partner’s global presence.
- Collaborates with other members of the Marketing team located in Madrid.
- Develops the overall company branding, visual identity, and communications strategy intended for a global audience, spanning Europe, the US, and Asia Pacific.
- Regularly creates compelling and engaging social media content covering topics related to private and public funding, innovation, and the startup landscape, that resonates with our global audience and drives interaction and acquisition.
- Manages email marketing efforts, including the writing and development of newsletters and email campaigns aimed at audience retention and lead generation.
- Implements SEO/SEM strategies to enhance website positioning and support lead generation efforts.
- Produces monthly and quarterly analytics reports for social media pages and websites, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Writes monthly blog posts, articles, and website content to maintain a consistent online presence and drive organic traffic.
- Assists with the development of UX/UI design for our business partner's websites, encompassing strategy, wireframe creation, and design elements to enhance user experience.
- Collaborates cross-functionally with Business Development, Fundraising, and Tech Consultant teams to ensure alignment and coordination of marketing materials and content across departments.
- Develops internal communications and newsletters to keep the team informed and engaged.
- Assists with occasional event planning, both in-person and online, and develops corresponding communication plans to drive participation.
- Supports communication and digital marketing activities for consortium project partners, including social media content creation and management, as well as UX/UI design and user experience.
Qualifications:
- Preferably Master’s degree in Business, International Trade, or Sales.
- Preferably CEFR C1 English and C1 Spanish (to communicate with Spanish-speaking business partner).
- Creative mindset with a passion for branding and design.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to translate ideas into visually appealing content.
- Collaborative and able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn from our company while representing our business partner.
- Enthusiastic about exploring new ideas and contributing to the creative process.
- Proactive in suggesting creative solutions to branding challenges.
