Responsibilities:
- Provide support in financial reporting, accounting and regulatory reporting for Singapore entities.
- Serves as the report preparer and responsible for the governance and controls over financial reporting.
- Works closely with external auditors for local audit purposes.
- Participates in the issues management process, including the escalation and remediation of financial reporting errors and control deficiencies.
- Handles period-end closing (monthly, quarterly, year-end).
- Review and perform monthly account reconciliation.
- Prepare financial data to support tax submission, government declarations, and the business needs of other departments.
- Support ad-hoc accounting projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
- 0-2 years of working experience, Big 4 experience / internship is preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Proficiency in both English and Mandarin Chinese would be highly advantageous.
- Professional work ethic, strong personal integrity, and stewardship.
- Self-directed, self-motivated, good logical thinking skills and able to come up with solutions and suggestions for process improvement.
- Ability to prioritise, meet strict deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal, written, listening and communication skills.
