Job Description

• Position: QA/QC Assistant
• Singapore's leading seafood processors, exporters and distributors
• Working hours: 5.5 days (Monday to Friday, 8am – 5.30pm; Saturday 8am – 12noon)
• Salary (commensurate with experience): up to $2,500 basic salary + yearly performance bonus
• Working Location: Jurong
• Meal Provided

• Duration: Permanent
• Industry: Processing and preserving of seafood

Main Responsibilities:

• Responsible for day-to-day inspection of in-process and finished products.
• Conduct daily hygiene inspection of process workers, process rooms and related areas to ensure it meets required standards.
• Ensure proper records of product and hygiene inspections.
• Responsible for reporting any non-conformance of products/process/ hygiene violation in timely manner.
• Assist in guiding production leaders/operators in implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement in production area.
• Assist in product development and ensure proper maintenance of all data, documents and records relating to product development.
• Assist QA Executive in implementation/ maintenance of SFA, Halal, ISO22000 & HACCP certifications.
• Assist QA Executive for Quality-related matters.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Food Science/microbiology.
• Preferably at least 1 year experience as QC in Food Manufacturing industry.
• Understanding of ISO 22000/ HACCP/GMP/ Halal requirements is advantageous.
• Meticulous, positive working attitude, able to cooperate/ communicate with all level of employee.
