We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join CTPL's finance team. This role offers exceptional exposure to sophisticated financial instruments and trading operations, requiring expertise in financial accounting and specialized knowledge of management accounting, particularly within a trade finance context. The position provides a unique opportunity to work with innovative financial solutions while managing the accounting complexities of international trade operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Cash Flow Management - Prepare detailed cash flow forecasts to manage liquidity and ensure adequate working capital for trade finance operations.
- Working Capital and Cost Analysis - Analyse working capital efficiency and monitor the costs of trade finance instruments, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Trade Transaction Profitability - Assess profitability by trade transactions or clients, producing reports that detail revenue, costs, and net margins. Manage and review complete monthly financial accounts.
- Prepare consolidation financial reports and liaise with the external auditor.
- Prepare the financial stataments for the group.
- Respond to accounting-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform other general accounting duties assigned to the accounting team.
- Perform any other ad hoc tasks assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
- Singaporean and Singapore PR only.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Bilingual proficiency in Chinese and English is a MUST.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (Xero, Quickbook, SAP, etc).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the accounting team.
