Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in applying advanced financial concepts and numerical methods to develop financial models and analytical tools
• Assist in implementation and maintenance of quantitative analysis
• Manage and analyze large, complex data sets by using a variety of statistical tools and techniques
• Conduct routine (daily/weekly/monthly) reports to provide the management with concise brand performance evaluation in order to drive business decisions and communicate clearly the outcomes/potential implications
• Keep abreast of the latest development on quantitative risk management

Requirements:

• Degrees in engineering, mathematics, finance or computing are highly desirable
• Working on projects across the financial analytics lifecycle including origination, maintenance and collections
• Knowledge in analytics and decision science theories including regression techniques, classification, time series forecasting, neural nets, segmentation, cluster analysis, etc.
• Strong programming skills in VBA, Java and/or C++, SQL Server and knowledge of MS Excel
• Familiarity with IT expertise to facilitate innovative solutions for analytical purpose
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Good command of English, Cantonese and/or Mandarin
• Working experience in the financial services industry not necessary but preferable

Duties

• Develop Python (automation) programs and web-scrappers
• Maintain (and enhance) legacy codebase
• Assist in data labeling for machine learning projects
• Make sure databases are clean and tidy.

Requirements

• Desirably holding degrees/higher diplomas related to mathematics, engineering or computing
• Strong programming skills in Python and PyData stack like Pandas, Numpy and matplotlib
• Basic acquaintance with SQL and understanding in OOP/FP
• Familiar with writing docstrings and other documentations for code
• Decent problem solving and analytical skills
• Well-structured and detail-orientated mindset
• Team player capable of working independently
• Tendency for logical, innovative and creative thinking
• Good command of English, Cantonese and/or Mandarin
• Working experience in the financial industry not necessary but preferable.

• Using the database, responsible in managing routine reports to the local management (daily/weekly/monthly) as well as regional office to provide clear and concise brand performance evaluation in order to drive business decisions and communicate clearly the outcomes/potential implications
• Keep abreast of developments in quantitative risk management

Position Overview

• Working location: Close to Expo MRT station
• Perform assigned clerical duties to assist project development of IT department and ensure the efficiency of daily operations during weekday

Responsibilities

• Handle corporate financial documents and data validation
• Conduct data labeling for artificial intelligence research projects
• Undertake ad hoc tasks and occasional clerical works

Must

• Postsecondary graduates or above (Secondary graduates with good command of English with also be considered)
• At least 1 year of relevant working experience
• Good command of Cantonese to be an advantage
• Fluent in English
• Able to work independently
• Well-organized, self-motivated, result-oriented, diligent and high sense of responsibility
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word

• Domain knowledge on corporate finance
