As an Accounting Executive at CYH Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial health and integrity of the company. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, financial reporting, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Job Description:
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all discrepancies are promptly addressed and resolved.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and financial statement preparation.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to provide insights into the company's financial performance and trends.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial data and support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions and documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with audit preparations and provide necessary documentation and support to auditors.
- Identify areas for process improvements and efficiencies within the accounting function and contribute to implementing best practices.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and standards, ensuring compliance and adherence to relevant guidelines.
- Support ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager or senior management.
- Able to do Full Set of Accounts, prepare and submit corporate tax and GST.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in a trading or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a SME environment.
