Responsibilities:

· Manage assigned projects to ensure quality and on-time execution to the project’s specifications and client’s expectations.

· Manage sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure quality and on-time delivery within project costs.

· Prepare project schedule/timeline and manage deadlines for the delivery of projects on time.

· Conduct project meetings as and when required, eg. for issues resolution and updates.

· Facilitate change requests to ensure that all parties are informed and manage any impact on schedule and budget.

· Managing client’s expectations during the project transition period.

· Oversee onsite setup work to check on quality delivery, safe work procedures and on-time completion, when required.

· Apply Permit To Work with supporting WSH documentation (Risk Assessment, Methods Statement, Safe Work Procedures) and any project-related admin work when required.

· Source for sub-contractors, suppliers and production material, when required.

Requirements:

· Experience in managing interior fit out project in commercial office design & build

· Strong team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.

· Dynamic and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

· Be able to run a few projects in parallel (depending on the size of projects).

· Good knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, PPT, Outlook and Excel.

1. Role Description:

The Quantity Surveyor/Quantity Surveyor (Executive) manages and prepares all the cost estimates for the construction projects. This ranges from initial calculations to the final accounts to help in bidding and determining the price of the service.

1. Specific Responsibilities:
   1.Trainee will be able to maintain polite and professional communication with team members. Trainee will prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation

2. Trainee will be able to coordinate and work with other team members, engage, coordinate and oversee all tenders to ensure timely submission to clients

3. Trainee will liaise with the client and other construction professionals, such as site managers, project managers and site engineers to do sourcing of quotations and evaluate quotations received from suppliers and sub-contractors.

4. Trainee will assist the designer in reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements, do research about basic construction work, following company's safety procedures, rules and regulations and eliminate or reduce hazard at the work place.

5. Trainee will establish and maintain professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders, analyse costs for maintenance and additional building needs and then negotiate with contractors and subcontractors
