My client is the fast-growing Internet company with offices globally. They are looking for Engineering Manager who is specialize in backend tech stack and to join the team in Singapore. The role is expected to build and manage the team and responsible for the architect and team management. This is an excellent opportunity to join the well-established company in Singapore and like-minded team in its hyper growth stage.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and build the backend team according to business requirement and technical roadmap
- Collaborate with product managers, engineering team, and senior management team for technical roadmap
- Responsible for the architecture, development, implement backend applications
- Provide vision, design and develop in keeping up to date and cutting-edge system solutions in building interactive web applications
- Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in computer science and engineering, or related field with equivalent work experience
- At least 7+ years of experience working in backend development, with proven leadership experience in tech industry
- Proficiency with C++/Golang/Python/Java/Rust and modern architecture
- Efficiency in handling technical issues, producing new design ideas and substitutions where required
- Strong communication to collaborate with stakeholders in all levels – (business, product, design, and development)
- Good command in English and Chinese
