Job Title: DCS Engineer
Work Location: Jurong Island
Expected Start Date: 01 January 2025
Responsibilities for this position may include but not limited to:
- Provides engineering design, troubleshooting and maintenance of Distributed Control System (DCS)
- Troubleshoot day-to-day process problems related to process control applications, controller tuning and batch receipes execution
- Supports Process Hazard Analysis and implements process changes through a Management of Change Process
- Maintains up-to-date documentations for the DCS
- Conducts training programs for operators on DCS & Batch Receipes
- Initiates and manages DCS hardware life cycle, software and process control network upgrades
- Leads / supports development and execution of control system pojects, and greenfield projects
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation and Control / Chemical from an accredited university
- Minimum 5 years of related work experience in DCS in the refinery, petrochemical or checmical industry
- Strong analytical / trouble-shooting skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work independently in a team and in a diverse enviroment.
Preferred Qualification:
- Knowledge and work experience in Honeywell DCS System (TPS/EPKS DCS and Experion Batch)
- Knowledge in SQL Programming / Power BI, Process Controls Domain & Network adminstration.
