Job Description: dConstruct is hiring a robotics researcher to research and develop new features for our robots and other devices and sensors. You will be developing state-of-the-art algorithms for our robot to be able to be deployed in dynamic environments, such as collision avoidance, robot perception using cameras or LiDARs or terrain analysis.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and implement an algorithm for terrain analysis and automatic obstacles detection. This feature will be integrated into dConstruct’s autonomy stack to enhance its obstacle avoidance capability.
- Collaborate with different teams to develop a production-ready code and integrate it into our product
- Develop new features and constantly improve dConstruct’s autonomy stack
- Test and deploy robots in real world environments
Requirements and skills
- PhD in Robotics or related field
- Deep knowledge in mobile robotics, including both wheeled and legged robots
- Experience in developing algorithms for dynamic environments
- Strong foundation in mathematics especially in linear algebra
- Strong foundation in programming, with some prior experience in modern C++
- Must have publications in recognized and reputable conferences/journals
- Experience working with diverse team
