Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other designers, to understand project requirements and user needs.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts and user flows.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions.
- Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and other design documentation to ensure consistency across products.
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback, data insights, and evolving project requirements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, design tools, and best practices to continuously improve design processes.
- Work closely with developers to ensure the successful implementation of designs and collaborate on design feasibility.
- Advocate for a user-centered design approach and contribute to a user-centric design culture within the organization.
- Present and communicate design concepts and solutions to stakeholders effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing previous design work.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Experience with creating wireframes, prototypes, and interactive design solutions.
- Strong visual design skills, including an eye for typography, color, and layout.
- Knowledge of design trends, usability principles, and accessibility standards.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively present and articulate design decisions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative development environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience designing for various platforms, including web and mobile.
- Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to facilitate collaboration with development teams.
- Familiarity with motion design and prototyping tools (e.g., After Effects, Principle).
- Understanding of design thinking methodologies.
- Previous experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment.
