Job Description

We are seeking a IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our team and oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our IT systems. As an integral part of our organization, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining servers in our Data Centre, Cloud Environments and at our clients’ locations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the overall IT infrastructure strategy, aligning it with the organization's goals and objectives.
• Manage and maintain the company's cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure.
• Design, deploy, and configure Windows Server environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.
• Administer and maintain firewalls, ensuring network security and access control.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network issues, proactively identifying and resolving any potential bottlenecks or vulnerabilities.
• Implement and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance and data security.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the IT infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an IT Infrastructure Engineer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Azure or AWS Cloud Platforms is an advantage
• In-depth knowledge of Windows Server administration.
• Expertise in firewall administration and network security.
• Solid understanding of networking protocols, routing, and switching.
• Some knowledge in MySQL and/or MSSQL databases is advantageous.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Relevant certifications are highly desirable.
