Responsibilities:
- Be fully responsible for health and environmental control, safety meeting and to ensure a safe working environment at workplace.
- Enforce & maintain high level of safety awareness and consciousness in the workplace.
- Review & Implement HSE policy and guidelines, safety management system for the company.
- Conduct regular site inspection to ensure compliance at all times.
- Familiar with all workplace safety and health matters, including WSH Act, COP & etc.
- Recommend, implement & carry out safety training programmes for workers.
- Work closely with site operating staff on all safety and health issues.
- Supervise, inspect and rectify any unsafe workplace.
- All other duties of WSHO.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess Diploma / Degree in related field.
- Possess a valid registration with MOM as Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO).
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in building construction.
- Knowledge of construction process & activities.
- Possess good leadership & communication skills.
