Platform Workers Insurance-related matters
- Medical Claim and Payout procedure:
Assess medical expense claims’/medical invoices’ validity Assess medical or hospital leave claims Initiate payout to Platform workers process upon claim validity Initiate reimbursement process from insurers
- Coordinate and follow up on injury reports with claimant / Provide excellent service to our platform worker community to ensure missing information is being provided and information is communicated
- Update and maintain the injury record system on a daily basis and query out new injury claims from our database
- Manage our agents from our shared service centre that are one channel in which injuries are being reported and adjust SOPs if necessary
- Maintaining a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward all stakeholders at all times
- Responding promptly to Platform Workers' inquiries
- Knowing our products inside and out so that you can answer questions
- Come up with initiatives to improve the process along the way as it is completely new / shape the injury process claim landscape in coordination with other stakeholders involved
- Communicate closely with other teams (e.g. call centre, dispatching, HR and finance team)
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
