Job Description
As a structural engineer, you will be involved in the design of infra-structure/civil type of works (mostly Marine related). The department itself is involved in large and smaller projects locally and worldwide. In all our design activities we strive for an economic optimum where constructability plays a crucial role in our concept selection. Creative thinking together with your colleagues and our clients is very important. Our designs are performed according to the Industry Standards and within the agreed boundaries of quality, schedule, and costs.
As Structural Engineer you will be involved in:
- Civil/Structural Design and analysis (reinforced concrete, steel design, ship-shore design)
- Technical coordination between different marine civil infra-structure disciplines
- Involved in large international project with multinational project team
- Coordinate and review drafting work
- Projects range from Feasibility, FEED, Concept, Basic to Detailed Design
- Port planning projects (layout design, master planning, navigation and berthing assessments)
- Marine engineering (ship-shore interface design, design of berthing and mooring equipment, determine environmental loads on port structures like breakwaters, jetties, quay walls and offshore foundations
What are we looking for:
- Bachelor degree or Master degree in Civil Engineering, focus on structural engineering and affinity with coastal and geotechnical engineering
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience in the industry
- Prior working experience in Marine Civil Engineering projects preferred
- Ability to work well in multinational project team
- You are pro-active, communicative and decisive
- Strong problem solving skills
