Duties/ Responsibilities:
Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects. Coordinate Business Units (BU) resources, timeline, and deliverables to ensure successful completion within schedule. Regularly review projects progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Manage and lead the project team to realize the project QDC objectives (estimate, plan and track the project development activities).
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including BU, staff customers and partners.
Take ownership and keep track of customers’ request and project issues, and work closely with team for resolution on quality, delivery, and cost.
Make recommendations to prevent problems and manage potential risks when necessary.
Need to be flexible to adapt to deadlines, changing schedules and requirements, and unpredictable events.
Frequent travel for new project kick-off, project progress discussion and alignment.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Computer, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics Engineering degree or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of work experience as Program Manager with project management skills in industrial or automotive industry.
Ability to manage the different phases of the project life cycle, budgets, contracts, schedule, risk, etc.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to prioritize and manage pressure.
Good communication skills.
Possess Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) is an added advantage.
Experience in cost and effort estimation for project quotations.
Willingness to travel frequently in Asia region, such as India.
